Delivery Day Guidelines and Damage Policy
1. On the Day of Delivery
Deliveries are not made on weekends, so on the morning of your scheduled delivery, be sure to call the carrier to confirm that your shipment is on schedule, as delivery times typically range between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Additionally, ensure someone is available to receive the shipment.
2. When the Truck Arrives
Before unloading, check that the shipping label has your name and address, and contact us immediately if it does not. Take photos of the package as it appears in the truck. The truck driver will then move your skid to the end of the truck, lower it to the ground with the liftgate, and place it next to the truck or on the curb.
3. Inspecting Damages
You can inspect the freight before signing. Note ‘Damaged’ on the receipt if there are any issues, photograph the damage, and call our customer support line. We’ll replace any damaged pieces noted on the carrier’s proof of delivery. If the freight is severely damaged, you can refuse the delivery.
