To ensure the highest quality Sika-Design uses carefully selected Indonesian rattan, handcrafted by skilled wicker workers. Rattan is one of the world’s most sustainable materials for furniture production. It is is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material.
Due to the remarkably strong and indestructible nature of rattan, many pieces are destined to last for generations.
